Grow a Chicken Fighter Patch Notes

This changelog is the dated spine of Grow a Chicken Fighter from launch on June 16, 2026 through HOTFIX 3.1 in early September 2026. Feature names match official Discord #updates and Roblox event copy. Hatch odds and event HP are community-reported unless a patch note printed a number.

Read newest-first if you already play. Read oldest-first if you are returning from a June save.

2026-09-01 — HOTFIX 3.1 (Battle Charms bug fixes)

Official Discord #updates hotfix for Update 3:

• Charm locking on console now works.
• Duplicate billboard above the Incubator removed.
• Friends Boost applies again.
• Arena UI refreshes after a skip purchase (no more stuck lobby).
• Chicken renaming repaired.
• Chicken promotion repaired.
• Rebirth milestone claiming repaired.
• Reroll warning for SR Charms removed.

If an Ascension Egg or promotion was stuck, claim it again on 3.1. No new egg pool in this hotfix.

2026-08-29 — Update 3: Promotions & Charms

Also called the Battle Charms update.

Features

• Chicken Promotions — spend duplicate chickens to star stats and unlock Charm slots (community slot map: no stars = slot I; 2★ II; 4★ III; 6★ IV; 8★ V–VI; 10★ VII–VIII).
• Battle Charms — roll Charm Dust for combat stats (DEF / HP / CRIT / ability / DR / move speed). Community rarity table: Common ~50%, Uncommon ~27%, Rare ~18%, SR ~4%, Legendary ~1%, Ascended ~0.1%. Charms reported to unlock around Rebirth 2.

Content

• Trick Egg (Catalyst Hen ~2% lay; Ace Rooster ~40% lay once you have one).
• 12 new chickens across Trick / Blessed / Demonic pools (Ace Rooster, Angel Chicken, Devil Chicken, and friends).
• Favorite chickens to protect them from selection.
• Daily Reward in the shop, a new pack, and Auto Rebirth in the shop.
• Code BATTLEREADY (Charm Dust + Royal Egg + hatch luck).

Blessed Egg and Demonic Egg also showed during the late-August admin-abuse window; treat those as event-sourced unless a layer chicken is sitting in your Flock index.

2026-08-29 — Arena leaderboard reset

Same week as Update 3, the Arena leaderboard reset with matchmaking changes aimed at AFK farming. Seasonal trophy ranks (Master V, Grandmaster I) start fresh after a reset — do not plan a weekend trophy push across a wipe if Discord has already announced one.

2026-08-22 — Update 2: Arena, Ascension Egg, Rebirth Milestones

The mid-game patch.

• Chicken Arena — assemble 3 chickens, fight players, earn trophies, climb ranks. Gate: Rebirth 5. Community: Arena window ~every 30 minutes. Season 1 ran toward mid-September 2026.
• Rebirth Milestones — extra rewards for late Rebirths, including Ascension Eggs at 10, 100, and 250.
• Ascension Egg hatch pool (community, in-game index): Skycrest Rooster 55%, Halo Hen 27%, Oracle Chick 12%, Seraph Rooster 5%, Eclipse Hen 1% Secret. Separate ~0.5% Inverted roll.
• Arena rank eggs: Master V ≈ 1 Ascension Egg, Grandmaster I ≈ 3 Ascension Eggs.
• New missions, Recycler upgrades, weekly rewards, console QoL.
• Codes ASCEND and 50MVISITS.

This is the patch that made Rebirth 5 and Rebirth 10 account goals instead of flavor text.

2026-08-15 — Update 1: Incubator + Chicken Boss Event

Roblox event title: NEW EVENT + INCUBATOR (Aug 15–22 window).

• Incubator — park one chicken to produce eggs in the background while you PIT / TOWER. Community unlock: cash cost plus Rebirth 3+. Storage and luck-while-staying-in-server are upgradeable.
• Chicken Boss Event added to the ~7-minute rotation alongside Hot Event, UFO Invasion, and Golden Goose. Damage milestones pay cash, 2x boosts, and Colossus Eggs.
• Colossus Egg pool (community): Rumble Rooster, Shockwave Hen, Ironcluck, Talon Titan, Storm Colossus ~1%, later Catalyst Hen at under 1%.
• Inverted hatch tease (small chance on saved eggs).
• Encourage button while a chicken is in the ring.
• Code EGGSCELLENT around this week.
• HOTFIX 1.1 the same day targeted Incubator-on-Rebirth bugs; players still reported having to re-slot the Incubator chicken after a reset.

Incubator ranking is egg value, not combat: Baron Cluck and Golden Goose at 100% Fortune; Founder Rooster ~50/50 Fortune/Royal; 404 Chick for Cursed; Reaper Rooster / Doll Hen for Haunt. Combat aces belong in the PIT, not the machine.

2026-06-16 — Launch

Grow a Chicken Fighter goes live on Roblox as an 8-player idle fighter by Sergio Verse Games.

Shipped on day one:

• Hatch eggs, grow chickens, fight in the PIT, climb the TOWER, Fusion with skill locks, Rebirth for permanent multipliers.
• Offline laying.
• Hot Event (Blazing Egg hold), UFO Invasion, Golden Goose already in the event mix.
• Starter codes WELCOME, LETMECOOK, SERGIOVERSE.
• Egg routes from Nest → Scratch → Thunder / Charm / Cursed / Arena, then Royal, Fortune, Haunt, Void, and the rest of the index.

Launch meta was Reaper Rooster + Voodoo and 404 Chick + Cycle of Ash. Those Fusion cores still matter; Update 2 and 3 stacked Arena and Charms on top instead of deleting them. Check the tier list after each numbered drop.

How to use this page after a patch

1. Skim the newest date for systems you touch (Rebirth, Incubator, Arena, Charms).
2. Confirm live codes — new drops almost always ship a code, and old ones expire without a patch note.
3. Re-read Events if Chicken Boss or Hot Event payouts moved.
4. Do not Rebirth mid-boost just because a patch landed. Finish the 2x, then reset.

Older admin-abuse weekends (Blessed Egg, Demonic Egg, Robux Arena prizes) are not standing features. If they return, they will show up here with a new date, not as evergreen farms.
